Riding Lessons at Indigo Road Farm

IMG_1568At Indigo Road Farm we provide quality instruction for the most beginner riders as well as for those competing at the top of our sport. Our program is designed to insure the safety of each rider and to teach them sound fundamentals of hunt seat riding as well as horsemanship. Not only do we hope to instill love and appreciation for horses, but also teach self discipline and responsibility through the proper care of them.

Two instructors to meet everyone's needs

                                      

       Hour lessons $45 or a package of 5 for $215                                   Necessary equipment- 
       Half hour lessons sold in pkg of 5 $150                                              ASTM SEI certified helmet
      All lessons include basic horse care, grooming, tacking and riding     Paddock boots and half chaps or                                                                                                                           Tall leather boots and breeches

Policies and procedures -
EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO OBSERVE 5 mph speed limit -there are dogs horses and children
Arena Etiquette
Parents are welcome to watch from the designated picnic seating area but it is suggested that most lessons are not observed(parents and families usually make your kids nervous believe it or not and that's why we have shows at home)
Interruptions of any kind are not permitted
Visiting children must be supervised
**anything can spook a great horse on a bad day, this is for everyone's safety

Barn and Farm Rules
Only feed treats to your assigned pony or horse
Only students are allowed in the aisle past the front entry in the barn
PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY ANYWHERE ON MY FARM THERE ARE ANIMALS AND KIDS
